I've noticed that a lot of people visiting this site hare arrived here by searching for 'Don Tolman'. In most cases the keywords scam, fraud and quackery were also used.

This makes me wonder. Are most people who are looking for information on Don thinking that he is a lying scam artist? Why are people looking for information on Don, have they seen him on television, heard about him from a friend or read about him in their horoscopes?

I'd love to know why you are searching for information on Don so please let me know in the comments. If you love him or hate him please share your opinion.

For those of you that found this page because you were looking for some hot pics of Don, I hope this touches you in a special place:

Don's teachings say that foods that resemble body parts are good for those anatomical areas. Which means that Don's penis must look like a cucumber. I wonder if his wife is a vegan?

  • I feel that Don Tolman is one of the most AWESOME people that I have EVER had pleasure to meet in my life. His depth of knowledge about anything and everything (e.g. wholefood, education, memory, disease – to name some), is AMAZING! And he is EXTREMELY entertaining! Don Tolman really LIVES HIS TRUTH!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9 May 2007 at 9:06 pm

  • Thanks for commenting. I also find Don very entertaining. The first time I heard him claim that eating apricots cures cancer I laughed for hours.

As I'm sure you know, foods that look like things are good for those things. Corn on the cob looks like a keyboard so maybe that can help you with your shift key issues.

  • Hey there, sorry not really sure how to respond to your comment, I am fairly new at blogging...

Anyway, yes there definately were a few unhappy campers [or non-campers as it turned out] who missed out. The ticketing system IS a lot better than it used to be but when there are less than 20,000 tickets for sale then I guess it can only be expected!

Ironic how the thing that makes it a standout festival [less people] actually hinders your chance of being able to attend.

Glad to hear you got your tickets too!! Did you get camping tickets?

By Blogger ëммą, at 16 May 2007 at 8:33 am

  • oh lucky that you did get tickets then hey... although a few days in Byron with nothing to do still sounds alright to me!

I'm a lot like you it seems! I missed Blues and Roots but I did BDO as well. Also went to Soundwave which was good for a dose of punk and hardcore. RHCP are one of my fave bands [have you read Scar Tissue?]. I also wanted to go to Black Keys but it was on a Wednesday night in Bris and I live out of the city so it just wasn't feasible. But I caught The Matches in Brissie in March, also The Lemonheads were the night after. Then in June I am going to see Grinspoon and Cog.

I think I might qualify for the title of "festival junkie" too
I spend a lot of cash on seeing live music but I like to think of it as "supporting the arts"

  • Yes I know Don Tolman. I know him to be all that people believe him to be. Which is truly Amazing. Just don't enter into any business dealings with him.

I was as close as his shorts to him for some twenty five years. We started the "Brain Garden" together as well as a lot of the "American Whole Food Farmacy."

I love the guy for several reasons, but non of then for his business dealings. He has not been honest with many people he's taken money from.

Listen to him, he may very well save your life, as I say he did mine. But, do not trust him with your money.

  • He may be all people believe him to be, but I believe him to be a quack. He tells people that cancer is caused by 'blocked tubes' and that eating fruit will cure serious illness.

So no need to worry Danal I'm not likely to give Don any money.

I'm curious how he could possibly save my life. Could he unblock my tubes? Or perhaps he could feed me coconuts because they look a bit like a turtle and turtles live a long time. Therefore by eating coconut you'll live a long time according to Don's 'things that look like things are like those things' theory of health care.

    Thanks for commenting Danal.

  • I ordered Dons book FDR, 2 years ago and never recieved it. I kept calling, and they would say its being printed---never got it--scam

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 5 April 2008 at 12:30 pm

  • At least that is an obvious problem. Pay for product, don't get product.

I'm more concerned with the lies he spews about medical conditions. If someone has cancer and thinks it is because of 'blocked tubes' and starts eating foods that look like the afflicted area instead of undergoing proven treatments then their health will suffer.

I'm interested to know, what made you want to purchase the book?

  • Q "How can we fight or stand up against the new cervical cancer vaccinations that are in our schools?": George Bush is allocating funding to fight obesity by educating children to be healthier, more physical, - do you know if the funding is really going to this?A lot of research is so biased.

A Don’s Answer: I have a hard time supporting any politicians anymore. So much corporate money controls nearly everything. I feel there is too much control over peoples lives. Inform young girls about the dangers of pharmaceutical tampons & pads that use material & chemicals to create bleeding for additional product use & sales. Natural chemical free products are available – in most democratic countries the “people” enjoy “religious freedoms”. If you have this tell the ignorant/ bought off authorities & politicians your “ religion” won’t allow vaccines... Don’t let them force you into it.

This guy is not just a retard he is a dangerous retard.

  • I rarely leave a post anywhere for a few simple reasons. One is that it tends to agitate people into quick, completely unwarranted and unfounded responses. Despite the obvious pitfall, I feel that i must respond a bit. First off Don Tolman has taught at many universities and colleges including Johns Hopkins. For those of you who don't know, Hopkins is a world renowned medical university. He has almost 2 decades of nutrition and science based understandings in the field. FYI, Dr.'s are not required to take any classes in nutrition, therefore have basically zero clue on how the body functions and responds to food. Sure, they know how to cut, paste, bypass and extend inorganic compounds to treat a symptom, but they don't know how to fix, treat or "cure" much of any dis-ease. He has taught there to change the path and attitudes of Dr's and help reshape the views of what the medical "industry" has tried to market to us. I've spent years of my life researching and debating with Doctors of the holistic realm, common practice, and seen many people with dis-eases fix their condition by changing their intake of foods. Without going on a diatribe, it' d just be nice to see people post that have done a bit of research and really stepped into the teachings before blindly bashing based on a sound bite. Peace

  • Don Tolman is a croc of shit.
The guy claims to fast for 40 days and then marathon powered purely by a glass of grapefruit juice...
documented by some two bit hollywood video company...

if it was the genuine thing, why doesn't the fucking national geographic in there to film.

    don's moe sucks

  • Been at Johns Hopkins for 20+ years, when did Don Tolman teach there?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 14 July 2008 at 10:54 am

  • MickeyR I agree, it's pretty far fetched isn't it. Fast for forty days and then run a marathon. It's a bit like the claims of the breatharians, they can subsist on nothing but air, but for some reason it never works when anyone wants to watch them do it and prove their claims.

By Blogger Flit, at 25 August 2008 at 6:42 pm

  • Anonymous #3, I agree, I can't understand why people cause such opposition to something such as a HPV vaccine. There is reliable evidence that it will reduce cancer, how can that be anything but a good thing.

They use dubious arguments like it will cause kids to have more sex. Or it's all part of the big pharma conspiracy. Bullshit, less people dying of cancer is a good thing.

The lies are an insult to all the hard working people who have dedicated themselves to saving lives and curing disease.

By Blogger Flit, at 25 August 2008 at 7:27 pm

  • Anonymous #4 I have to correct a couple of things you've written. Firstly I don't think that Don has ever taught at Johns Hopkins. According to his website he has talked there, not taught there.

Secondly "doctors don't learn anything about nutrition" is a very common sophism employed by supporters of alternative medicine when claiming it is superior to real medicine. It's just not true. Call up any university with a medical school and ask them. Or here and here it's already been done for you.

I agree with you that it would be nice if people conducted more and better research to support their positions. If, with your comment about sound bites, you are implying that I'm taking Don out of context in some way then I'd love to be corrected.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • I just attended a free seminar by Tolman and I'm searching to see what's out there about him. His general message is to eat fresh whole foods to stay healthy. Good advice.... do I need to pay $2000 to hear it for 3 days? Not really....

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 23 September 2008 at 9:29 am

  • i lent don tolman $10'000 and a friend lent him $15'000. so he could finance a book about the signatures of food. we were to be paid back in 6 months with interest. other people lent him money of at least $100'000 total. thats what he said he needed for printing costs. the books were printed and sold but don tolman never repaid the loans that my friend and i gave to him. don tolman uses the phrase truest truth alot. well the truest truth about don tolman is that he is a fraud and a crook. i am not some big business man i have a small lawn service. having $10'000 stolen from me really set me back i am still trying to recover 8 years later. what people need to know about con men like don tolman is that they are intelligent - likable - smooth thats how they get your hard earned money. now i am not in a position to comment as to his knowledge on matters of health and nutrition. but my personal opinion is that his whole story about traveling the world for years in search of the lost formulation of pulse is pure fiction.these people always have to have some miracle tale with divine overtones to give thier products and themselves more believability. alot of health writers overstate claims so they can sell more books to you so be careful its your health. as for don tolman i wouldnt trust him with my money or my health. i hope this rant helps someone else from being taken advantage of like my friend and i were. thank you jock h. shields (952)367-6606

  • I heard of Don Tolman when a close friend emailed his youtube interview that was "amazing".

My skepticism was triggered by the fact that it got so many views but only 2 comments, and the comments were repeated on the 2nd segment of the interview.

My skepticism level increased when I actually heard his claim of "eating foods because it resembled body parts" and "the ancients said so" (dude, Aristotle also believed the heart was the thinking organ).

Then I heard a trained nutritionist give an opinion on Tolman's assumptions. (To paraphrase, eating whole foods is a good idea, and doctors have advocated that plus exercise.)

Also, seeing all his pictures shows a man with a big ego - he only wants to be pictured in a certain way: texan hat & shirt.

This assumption of his big ego is strengthened by the fact that when I googled "don tolman" the first 8 pages are of superlatives of the guy. Compare that with "al gore" (hey I know they aren't comparable but Don's ego sure wants to be) - there's 2x dissing links for Al Gore on the second page of results. But nada for Don Tolman.

If a man is defined by his friends and his enemies...I've got no idea what Don is.

  • who gives a shit..
he who si wihtout sin, cast the first stone..

wow, how people love to hit on other people and put them down for their beliefs or their opinions even when you don't have your own knowledge about stuff.

Unless oyu can better the information, listen when someone makes sense. You dont hve to agree and do it, but dont slam it when you dont know half the truth of it.

Anything works if we have total belief in it, food did us well all those years ago when there was nothing else now, of course it will do us well again, and it does heal, just ask the thousands who ahve found that out.

If you dont want to try it or believe, then dont, and go and get yourself cut oopen and survive or maybe survive, but dont put others down for believing in something else.

Usually when people find fault in other people, its really finding fault in themselves or their own lack of belief in themselves or limiting decisions.

There is so much crap in this world in people who want to down evertyhing, or disbelieve everything or want to argue about everything and yet know nothing themselves about it.

If you think its all crap, then go and prove it instead of downing it. It's been proven to work, prove that it doesn't. Put your money where your mouth is.

Learn to listen and absorb as much information as possible so that your knowledgeabe and have all the information. Do what you want with it, that is everyones god forbidden right to, but leave others alone when they do what they want to do.

where were you when kindess, understanding, patience, honesty and integrity were given out.?

  • Now that I have found who you are and your reasons for all of this I doubt you'll post my comments...Yup, This is the Evil, Dark Knight of Stupidity that knows nothing other than running scams and ruining peoples lives...Don Tolman here. If todays pretense to knowledge folks that are all funded by the Pharmaceutical Drug Lords know what they are doing...why is there more Cancer every year not less? More Heart disease not less? More diabetes every year not less? Why have we gone from 7 diseases in 150 years to over 10,000+ legally registered diseases and from 12 medications to over 500,000 toxic medical drugs and thousands of harmful and even useless surgery's? If we really know what we are doing why is all of it on the rise? why do americans take more drugs annually than all other nations put together? If supplements are so great and drugs so miraculous how come the U.S. Surgeon General declared we are the sickliest generation of Americans to have ever lived...????
What if defamation of Character and Character assasination, scam, fraud etc. is actually the measure of someone actually in the eye of the public and trying to make a difference for the good.
Oh yeah, thats right you know all there is to know because you were a good little chant learner of pre-selected answers to put in blanks on exams in order to get a star or a grade in order to move "up"... What if a medical practice is just that a 'Practice" also...I have never publicly said that apricots cures cancer... but I have to admit the keyboard/corn thing was really cute...reminds of what's orange and sounds like a parrot...a carrot. now thats sick. I wish you the best with the critiques and I'm an idiot thing...hell anyone who has ever heard me speak knows I'm simply a Retardis... thats obvious. I'm a False Fake psuedo Quack Healer and I cant' even spel or punkchuate.

  • OK Mr Tolman, if that really is you, I have a comment and a question for you.
My comment is that I see where you are coming from concerning the amount of money that BIG BUSINESS is making from everything, including health. And a lot of what you say makes sense. I dont even care that according to some, you have robbed them, and the claims you know nothing are merely other people opinions. As far as I am concerned we will never know the real truth about anything, we will only ever have the opinions of people.
And my question is, why do you charge such HUGE amounts of money for your information? I know we all have to make money to live, but are'nt you a wee bit guilty of making money, the same as the giant companies that are destroying this planet and everything in it, even if it on a much smaller scale?
When I am seeking the truth about something I generally follow the money, so I believe 100% big business and their advertising buddies are only in it for the money. Sadly there seems to me financial incentive for you too???

  • Interesting,interesting comments...read 'em all.

For those doubters, Don Tolman is the REAL DEAL! I had never heard of him before seeing him speak (for FREE)in April 2008.

A few months later, my sister was diagnosed with cancer and given 3 months to live if she didn't have her uterus and bladder removed asap. Her Dr. said he'd never seen a cancer like hers in 20+ years of practice and the prognosis was GRIM. I spoke to a friend who knows Don and caught up with him in Australia. Don explained what cancer is and how she might improve. When he returned to the states he gave us more tips (for FREE). It's been six months now and my sister is feeling well and has returned to work--all from healthy living and whole foods.

Not only that, but since hearing Don, my husband has been able to wean himself from his diabetes meds.

THAT'S PROOF ENOUGH FOR ME!Don't wait to lose a loved one to embrace the principles of health that Don Tolman speaks so passionately about.

  • I have cancer and have been on a voyage of self discovery. I have had surgery and chemo, towards the end of which an addition tumour was found. At this time I opted for a more natural approach to treating the issue. The holistic & nutritional approach is not new, it is the basis of the Gerson therapy and in Australia, the Gawler Foundation approach.

Statistics for the success of chemo are not convincing (3% increase in survival for my cancer & yes that is backed up by published medical reporting), if I had of realised this prior to having chemo I would NEVER have went down that path. The sensation of systematically poisioning your body is terrible, added to that is the ongoing side effects/permanent damage inflicted physically and emotionally. Fundamentally, it suxs even 4 months done the track after chemo.

Given this I'm intending to here me while reserving judgement (after all Don doesn't advocate trusting all that is written/stated, proof is in the pudding, etc). Rant over.

  • I have no problems with quacks. Usually they are bright and personable. I believe that most of them will use money responsibly, unlike their idiotic victims. The transfer of wealth from the stupid to the clever is an admirable form of social Darwinism.

  • Don Tolman is the man.

Everyone else here who posts seems to have either no clue what they are talking about or they drink the same kool-aid the Pharmeceuticals put out.

No wonder. Most of the comments are probably from the USA, which is where the greatest ignorance lies.

But oh no, if someone with a cowboy hat, wholesome information comes along to dismantle the treasured belief systems of the "enlightened" negators here on this blog page, then something must be going good for Don.

Funny how all the negators have no actual substance.

Id be that way too....if I was a pill-poppin, couch potato suckin on my 3rd quarter pounder and supersized coke, while I complain that my health is deteriorating, but refuse to see that it has nothing to do with the fact I hardly eat healthy food, my arse is firmly stuck on the couch and the only fresh air I get is from the crater out my rear-end.

    Yeah....keep drinking the kool aid...

    Cheers mates!

  • In the bible, it is true that there are stories of food that is less heavy on the body and more nutritious keeping you lean , etc. cleansing and fasting are also written about as well as a scripture that says the leaves of the trees are for the healing of the nations... so things are made for us to consume and keep us healthy. God did make those things for us his creation to enjoy.whole foods are live foods and the enzymes help us to digest. I use and sell nutritional foods to heal and cleanse the body. I lost 22 lbs in 5 weeks and feel great with lots of energy. It is very possible that Don Tolman is clever and no doubt he makes money with his persona. So sorry to read that he has ripped people off but that is no indication that whole foods are not good for the body. He is not to be confused with healthy eating, he is just talking about things. Interesting observations, perhaps the are not coincidental... we do come from the earth originally and we will go back to the earth when our bodies die. So anything that gets it's nourishment from the earth is part of us too. We need the minerals from the earth and if it is minerals and vitamins that we need to put back in our bodies then I suppose it makes sense to eat the fruit of the earth to get it. check out www.californiastyles.isagenix.com for nutritional supplements to put back what your body needs and help you get rid of toxins and fat that are making you sick.

  • To answer your question, I was sent some marketing material for a Tolman 2 1/2 hour event. I immediately smelled a rat because he sounds like every other snake oil salesman out there. He may well have a good heart, but what he doesn't have is proof. People read testimonials and think that constitutes proof. But the plural of testimonial is not "proof". Everyone needs to eat and live healthily - there is nothing astounding or controversial about that. Eat foods shaped like the body part you want to heal? I can't even be bothered commenting on that one.

  • This guy is definitely a quack. This isn't alternative medicine people... it is alternative crap!! I'm amazed at what people will believe because they see this guy on the net or on tv. He is a con-artist from the word go. He is a known liar who has been running from debts and taxes for years.

Some of you are looking for proof on here. Here is a little: http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Whole+Living+Awarded+Damages+in+Federal+Court+Against+The+Wholefood...-a0125640339

There is alot more dirt you can find just doing some simple Google searches. At one point I found a court document for him when he found a loophole and was obviously avoiding paying taxes on his entire income. I can't find that at the moment, but it does exist out there somewhere. It had something to do with the "fake" companies that he supposedly owned. He was claiming all these companies were making the money and it wasn't his money so he didn't pay taxes on most of his income. That is called tax evasion folks.

Here is another article about 2 companies PGTG and YNOT(stock symbols) merged or "change symbols": http://goliath.ecnext.com/coms2/gi_0199-5494062/Ynot-Education-Changes-Name-and.html

If you do enough digging you will find Tolman listed as the Pres and/or CEO of both of these companies. They were trading publicly, but these were fake entities folks. He was using them as a way to hide his own income.

Anyway, I don't have anything against Don Tolman but when you smell a rat it probably is a rat folks. I was just shocked to see this guy actually had a real following. I once bought a stock of one of his fake companies, but I can't be mad because I actually made money off of it. I must've been one of the lucky ones.

  • Sorry for the reply to my own post but I forgot to mention a few things in my first post.

I don't question some of the eating habits Mr. Tolman is preaching and I am also in the middle of the medicine vs. alternative medicine debate so I can see both sides.

My biggest thing is I want to hear it from the horse's mouth. I just feel like this guy is using recycled material and passing it off as his own.

Am I wrong? It wouldn't be the first time he was using something that wasn't his.

By Anonymous Det. Jack, at 3 June 2009 at 4:16 am

  • "this guy is a 'quack'". The only people I know who use lingo like this are racist supremists. For the record people, people who use the word 'quack' often also think that accupuncture is a myth, that drinking water isn't vital, and that herbs are just for taste. All of which have been proven for over 5000+ years of medical science in multiple cultures in different ways, before they were even connected with global transport systems. Don has connected the dots.

Its a very degrading way to term somebody. A quack. Personally, I measure a man by his terminology and when somebody has a tendency to define a people by a bigot definition everything else they have to say is ignored because its obvious to a see a lopsided biased and probably angry / repressed individual is there typing away in fear and worry. Protecting something, like their medical degree. The best resort is to attack and try and bring the target into a kidegarten setting. Quack quack.

I myself have gone into business and offered the first quarter of this year upfront on an online hand shake agreement with the Tolmans. Going on what people have said above, if it were true that Don Tolman is a con man, then I must be looking at imaginery money they are now paying me for what I have done. By the standards mentioned above, they shouldn't be talking to me anymore, and since there is no written contract, then they have no obligation to pay me either. Strange that they are.

I am an extremely good judge of character. I read a book by its cover, and I also take in the contents. While I can see there is room in the persona of Don to attack, that exists in all of us, even people like myself, dare I admit. Reality is, at the end of the day, Dons advice has been spot on. Don't try and reduce his advice by making your own irrelevant analogies such as corn is like keys, actually go and do some research as I did and look into the validity of this. Nobody is perfect, and therefor everybody has room to grow. I'm sure every single doctor in the industry has made a mistake that cost somebody a life, or far far far more than a $10,000 or even a 1 million dollar equivalent loss. No? Accidental prescription messups that create lifetimes of addiction - oops anybody? Forget that, bag on the guy who's telling people to heal themselves. What a nasty nasty man. Makes the anti-christ look like a elf. I doubt you'll find any critics in here saying anything about the money driven marketing clinic disasters that which happens every single day in every state across the country will they? So whats really the fuel on the fire here? A threatened career / degree I would assume. Any real scientist knows when the scientist has something to prove the results can be swayed.

Basically, at the end of the day, there are 3 people in the world. 1 is a completely moronic person who pretends he knows everything. He bases his assumptions off of peer pressure and fear of not knowing, meanwhile projecting an image to everybody else as knowing everything. Quick to offer a judgement. Quick to recoil in the light of actual understanding. They lurk in the shadows and they win when they talk to people who don't read books. Then there is the 2nd type, and he probably was once like the first type, but has had a few humbling experiences which showed him how clearly wrong he was about so many things, and he did the real research and experimentation, popped out the other side and worked out something good to teach. The 3rd type is a bit like the author of this blog. Sitting on the fence, knowing something is wrong, half agrees, half disagrees. Could go any way really, back to assumption land or towards reality. Keep feeding the boys who want to just punch a punching bag and will piss on anything that is alternative, or start actually supporting the people out there who care about more than a career and selling drugs.

I too wonder why it costs as much as it does to attend events that improve my health. Maybe Don is gathering the money he needs to defend himself against a billion dollar industry throwing legal BS at him? I don't know... I'm not THAT involved to know. I do know however that based on an invisible hand shake agreement they have included me in the sharing of what we create. Just like most people, I'm extremely cynical of wonder cures... I'm a programmer and personally, I need to know how something works in order to believe in it. Sadly, most people quick to shout out 'quack' are actually some of the biggest blind faith relgion guised as knowledge people around.

    All the best, Bobby

  • Don stole $5,000.00 and has never paid it back which is the contract that I signed. Some of you think that it is ok to be a con man. Do you think Robin Hood stole from the poor and gave to the rich. Well that is what is going on here. He is no better then a bank robber.

Please If any of you know how to get any of our money back. email me at pami@pami.us.

I pray for the people that think he is a good man and the ones that think it's ok for him to hurt so many people.

    Blessings,

  • Nice rant Bobby! Who are you trying to protect? The guy is a con-man bottom line. I have nothing against the guy personally like I said in a previous post, but I'm trying to be a good citizen and warn people to watch out.

I mean who is the idiot here Bobby? I believe in real medicine but I also believe there are some very good alternative medicines. I'm neither opposed to your alternative way of life nor am I a racist.

I mean I used both facts and opinions in my previous post but the links were completely factual. Like I said... I smell a rat. Think what you want Bobby.

  • Is this the same Don Tolman who wrote the hysterically funny 'Book of Raphael' ??? Oh, wait, wait, I mean The Book of Raphael that was written by the angel Raphael who was writing through Mr. Tolman... of course *ahem* Also, how did he manage to not have the blight of radical-excommunicated-Mormon follow him around? Aww, maybe it's just me, but I can't help noticing that 'The Book of Raphael' is one of the few items NOT for sale on his fabulous wesite...... whatever, I'm off to the health food store in search of the magical apricot pits which I will throw out my window and which will grow into a giant beanstalk due to the law of magnetism...

  • I love Don Tolman; heard him on a radio program and subsequently went to two events that cost me next to nothing, Was inspired to keep on my whole food quest in spite of the constant bombardment from the marketers of all that isn't whole living food. Don is a hero, his message is vital, and relevant and he is brilliant. However, no one is perfect. Having a mostly one way rant cause you wouldn't know health from heath and because you believe what the establishment tells you is sort of desperate, you know. kind of sad; for you, especially.

  • I've seen Don at a lecture, my vote is quack/wacko. However I did try some of the pulse and liked it. However seemed to be expensive, does anyone know the best place to buy?
    Thanks

By Blogger Unknown, at 18 July 2009 at 3:06 pm

  • whatever you do don't buy food a quack has recommended. but since you like the food the wacko makes maybe you should make it yourself. surely it cannot be too difficult to acquire some fresh organic veggies, minced them up, add a few spices and dehydrate them. (get a dehydrator, although that seems obvious to most of us i thought i better give you a hint) not too sure who the wacko is but whatever.

  • Wow, so many angry people, and the name calling? did you people ever leave preschool? Funny that when I started looking to see if Don had an online recommendation for sinus allergies I find all this … Hate.

For me, and I’ll keep it simple, I just met Don for the first time this month in a Free lecture. What I find really interesting is Don offered a lot of good information, offered a book and other tangible tools for a reasonable price, that was it! His son offered some food items, and in the end it was all presented for my consideration, nothing more, nothing less.

At no time were the doors locked, a gun held to my head or any other form of demands that I do anything but consider the information presented in a very humorous and intelligent manner. Who are you cry babies?

As a Holistic Health Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist, educator and entertainer I think it’s unconscionable how people will jump to call Don names while running to a “Medical Specialist” who is PAID by drug companies. Yet we’ll still sit in front of the TV and listen to countless ads for “health cures” that they plainly state (to reduce civil liability) it will kill you or cause a host of ugly side effects while “treating” some other complaint.

Bottom line, no one food or lifestyle is perfect for everyone, but Don offers some great insight into our bodies, minds and spirits that is GREAT food for thought: If you don’t like it, get up and leave or go back to your drug pusher, but for crying out loud, stop the hate and name calling, it's really bad for your health :-)

  • OMG! I've just lost time (maybe an entire hour!) of my life I'll never get back reading these posts and its all just repetition and BS. some of you people just need to get a life! Clearly, when it comes to your health.. he knows what he's talking about. When it comes to business, maybe not. But when and where has Don (or anyone else) said that business coaching is his strength? One thing we all know to be true is that people rarely value anything that is free.. so why should Don work for nothing??

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11 August 2009 at 1:43 pm

  • Don is a dual personality. One can be warm, kind and loving; the other can rip you off and justify it somehow. I have yet to fully understand it but love him or hate him, he gets a person to thinking and maybe that is what his purpose in this lifetime is. His message is true but the messenger is tainted, so what? Tell me who isn’t? At least, unlike many others who claim to have a message (ie: preachers, politicians, snake oil salesmen (vitamin companies) etc., Don does his best to walk his talk and talk his walk. Does he stumble sometimes? Don’t you or I?

Have you ever noticed how people are quick to raise someone up on high, then tear them down again with vengeance when that person doesn’t live up to their expectations? I’m not giving Don the status of being a great messenger, far from it, but think about it! People are so willing to turn their personal power over to anybody (take a look at all of the past and present infomercials for everything from weight loss to get rich schemes) then, they get really angry when they find out that THEY are the ones ultimately responsible for making their lives work not some Guru. Then they get ANGRY but rather than directing their anger inward for personal self-discovery as it should be, they direct it towards their LATEST source of disappointment and move on to someone else. Be careful, someday any one of you here can be that source of disappointment for someone else.

I’ve known Don for a long time. I’ve loved him and at times despised him for the way he treats some people. But I can tell you this, kill the messenger if you must but love the message. Fasting works, I know because I have personally done it and there is evidence to support it. Raw foods work and there is also an abundance of evidence to support it. The nice thing about Don’s message is that he has managed to take years of research and consolidate for easy reading. Do you want to spend that time yourself?

The health benefits of a RAW food diet are well documented but there are forces that are trying to suppress the knowledge for their own gain and they are slandering ANYTHING and EVERYONE in their efforts.

I know Don and while he is making money at what he does he is not getting rich at it like so many other charlatans out there who will TELL you anything and SELL (MLM Supplements anyone?) you anything to get your money. With that in mind, do you really think that if Don didn’t really believe in what he was talking about at a deep spiritual level, it is there really enough money in it that would keep him doing it? Say what you must but he is extremely intelligent and could make money doing many things besides this.

As I said, I’ve known him for a long time and while I would never do business with him again, he would be one of the first ones I would call if I were in dire physical stress and were looking for health alternatives that would not kill me. However, I’m one of the few that feels like my health is MY responsibility and not one to be turned over to the real quacks.

    Thanks.

P.S. As far as ‘tax dodging’ what are you an idiot?! Name me one politician, doctor, lawyer or wealthy individual or business or for that matter just about any tax payer, that does not fudge their taxes at some time or another? Don’t most corporations play the ‘shell game’ to reduce their taxes? Don’t most people own corporation to reduce their taxes? Do YOU declare ALL of your income? What about the cash you got for some odd job? No? Well then, you are a tax evader! But then again, who cares? You’ve got nothing of importance to say anyway.

  • I stumbled upon this blog not knowing much about Don Tolman, yet based on deductive reasoning, I already like the guy. The people who have negative things to say about him all seem to express themselves in curt, angry, cynical bursts, reminiscent of all the other internet message board bashing that goes on. Meanwhile, people who have positive things to say leave well-spoken, thought out comments, appear to be well educated and seem to be coming from the heart. Even those who may have had bad business dealings with him in the past still stand by his teachings and by his character as a human being. Based on those observations, I think I'll look into his message further with an open mind and an open heart.

  • I have been following Dons progress for some years now. Been to a few of his lectures and recently spent the $1,600 bucks and did his bootcamp. Yes it seems by what I am reading here that he has made a few mistakes in business...well who hasn't.... myself included. I'm a brilliant inventer...I am also a lousy bussnessman, but it doesnt detract from my inventions. I notice Don has other people eg the Truscotts running his bussiness side of things now. Its just conjecture on my part but maybe thats why.

Not one of you I have read, has faced death at the hands of the medical proffession. Not one of you have ben told your have a terminal illness. Well I have, so that gives me the right to comment.

Here’s my experience at the hands of the so called conventional medicine.

Diagnosed with severe incurable leukemia in March 2000 after a clean bill of health by a complete medical only 4 months earlier.

Told by one of the top oncologists that I might see 3 years, more like 2 and I might see 3 to 5, if I took their treatment (read poisons here).

Three months later when I dared question their opinions after feeling nauseous 24/7 and puking 3 times a day, on their poisons to extend my life?, and I commented “d rather die than live like this….. so I’m going to try alternative”…I was bluntly told…."your going to die, get used to it" (man, these arrogant bastards really know how to take your hope away". I then angrily asked him “have you seen Patch Adams?”, he hughed and said “no”. I replied well you f…ing ort to, as your delivery stinks”

I went from fit and healthy to losing nearly half my body weight over the next year. Watching the look of terror on my children’s faces watching their dad dying before their eyes.

I did (thru the advice of somebody else) exactly what Don preaches and I am now 6 years past my “use by date”. I am the best looking dying guy, you have ever seen lol.!. and I took no conventional drugs...none

Look at the real statistics of the huge increase in every disease and you should be frightened…… eg Cancer 1 in 100 to now 1 in 3. Some “war” their losing…..!!!

I am here alive… thanks to Don Tolman, Dr Dr Rudolf Breuss, Hilda Hemmes, Dr Alex Burton and also Dr Alec Dowland and Dr Wayne Dyer.. Notice how many of these people have doctorates, and most are real MD/GP Doctors.

Until you have been on my journey, none of you have a right to an opinion.

Bag Don out all you want and ... all the way to your early grave.

  • I am saddened to hear such hatred for Don Tolman, who is not afraid to speak the truth and help others. I don't care about his business ventures. I still have no doubt in my mind that this guy has changed our lives, for the better. My husband was diagnosed with a brain tumour, had it surgically removed (before we stumbled upon Don's advice) and lives with ongoing symptoms of the harsh drugs he was exposed to , as well as the after effects of tampering with the body's "computer". Don's advice has made all the difference to how he manages this - instead of more drugs to suppress the awful symptoms of nausea, disorientation and "feeling unravelled", he simply juice fasts which helps to make him healthier and stronger. Afterwards, he is more positive. We understand that we can't change the fact that he had horrendous surgery but we feel empowered to be able to do something about the symptoms, rather than play the victim who relies on a doctor to drug him up and mask symptoms. Our son too, was diagnosed with a pineal cyst, causing 18months of 24/7 headaches. Neuro-specialist advice: we can't do anything - just let him inject himself with a toxic drug to provide relief. The first time he did this at a tender age of 12, he collapsed. Don suggested water and salt, and eliminating aluminium from his diet (even found in baking powder!!). Simple. Deceptively cheap. Results - instant relief and no recurrent headaches ever again - that was 3 years ago.
So guys, go on....... slag Don Tolman all you like and tear my testimony apart if you feel threatened by it. All I can express is my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to a man that truly changed our lives, for the better. Don, our vote is with you, Friend!

  • Actually, although all the above discussion is interesting... I was curious to know whether Don's memory displays onstage are real or not. Anyone really know? I found them suspect.
Also about 7 years ago he was to have accelerated learning software available within a few weeks that would allow you to do what he does, and to learn a language overnight. No sign of this or any word of it lately...

Re the food resembling the organs its good for: this is called the Doctrine of Signatures and has been popular in various cultures throughout the centuries.

Re the health benefits of raw nutrition: undeniable... but if you want to compensate for the extreme lack of nutrients in our foods that have been bred for centuries for their colour, size, taste, rather than nutrition... and then get sprayed with chemicals, picked green, stored, processed, etc... I highly recommend you check out the www.Mannatech.com range of products. They have an incredible amount of real science to back them up, a huge collection of dedicated and qualified experts on their staff, a patented nutrient missing from our diets that can help where nothing else can, and incredible results woldwide with hundreds of thousands of cases. Of course they cant tell you this themselves because of legal restrictions imposed by the sickness industry... but please Google and research. It could save your life! (Try 'Sweet Language of Life' on Youtube or elsewhere).

  • I didn't come to this site because of typing in scam. I've been to one of his Bootcamps and he had so much knowledge that I was in awe.
My understanding is that Don didn't teach at the John Hopkins but he was invited to talk there a few times.
I have the FDR and I've used his methods to heal health problems in our home.
Such comments as "a coconut looks like a turtle" is to be laughed at. Foods relate to the body...not to other animals and yes, perhaps Don does have a penis like a cucumber and good luck to him if he does. Perhaps the person making the comment should eat more bananas themselves because it seems you don't have much to offer yourself in that department.
There will always be those that don't want to embrace the truth and sometimes it is about what we have been raised to believe.
I know the problems with vaccines and can I also say that I'd be avoiding the swine flu vaccine as I know of someone who has died from it.
I guess we all have choices. You can choose to take drugs and see how long you live or you can embrace that which is offered before us...wholefoods, water, sunshine, walking and happiness. The simple things in life. I now what my choice is and I'm brave enough to say screw you all, Don's work is fantastic and I love what he has allowed me to do with my life.

  • My wife paid $5000 to become a Don Tolman Foundation Member instead of having a mastectomy for her breast cancer (surgery was booked for the following week). Over the last 12 months he has failed to honour any of the benefits of this membership. He has ignored 7 emails from her and failed to return 5 messages left on his telephone message bank (calls from Australia to the USA). During the time he has ignored her, the untreated breast cancer has metasticised and spread to her spine. He took her money and left her to die !! Our two young teenage children will be motherless thanks to this rogue. He is nothing but a con man

  • I recently attended Don Tolman bootcamp and found him to be an inspiration. Unlike others, before I blog any opinion on the man I want to transform the information he provides into knowledge. And the only way you gain knowledge is by personal experience. Everything sounds like bull shit until you experience it for yourself. One thing I can say, Don continues to tell his audience not to take his word for it, but to try it for themselves.

  • DON TOLMAN is an EVIL EVIL EVIL piece of shit and I cannot help but pass judgment that he will spend his eternity in HELL being sodomized by Hitler because he is LOWER than Hitler. He is a disgusting slimy PEDOPHILE I reapeat PEDOPHILE do I need to mention again he is a PEDOPHILE? I know first hand and that's why he switches residences among different and now international jurisdictions so the law can't catch up to him. But one day, he's going to molest the wrong little girl and someone's dad will come and cut off either his head, his "cucumber" or both. You people who were defrauded by him should fall down and praise god that your money is ALL he took from you!

  • While some find Don Tolman's delivery style entertaining and informative, his information on nutrition, health and healing is not anything unique. He is a mater at gathering information that is already out there and presenting it to folks. Consider his info, do your own homework in regards to alternatve health, compare and contrast from various sources. But whatever you do, do not loan him money and keep your children far from him. There are many that have lent him money with no hope of evr seeing it returned.Do some research, talk to his former wives, children, associates, neighbors and you will find a man with a very disturbing past in regards to sexuality and business dealings. Just because his health information may resonate with you or have helped you to improve your health, it does not mean that he is not fraudulant in other aspects of his life. I have known the man personally and been very close to some of his former family members. Stay safe, there is nothing you can't learn about health for free or little cost. I know it is very difficult for some to hear negative things about someone that has helped them to feel better, but his history indicates that caution is required when dealing with Tolman.

  • Don Tolman is a great man. His teachings are from sacred ancient knowledge, not from modern greedy drug and surgery pushers.

Wake up and smell the roses, it will do you a lot of good for the long run.

Sunlight, walking, rest, whole foods, pure water, loving relationships, PASSION

Anyone who calls these things 'scams' will be done away with quite soon through natural selection anyway...

  • Hi Baysider,
I'm so sorry to hear about your wife but I do find it hard to believe that you say Don ignored 7 emails and 5 phone calls. That doesn't sound like the Don Tolman I know and I am a Foundation Member as well.

Why didn't you get in touch with Zane Truscott as I'm sure he would have sorted it out quick smart.

No, I didn't search "scam" to find Don, I had heard him on the radio and thought he was well informed and interesting and after seeing him in person I have decided he is a passionate person trying to do good work on the planet. Where is the "scam"? I simply wanted more, so I searched for him. Sounds like sour grapes by some rather immature and hateful people.

  • I was Don Tolman's best friend in 1979. We put on a memory seminar and our families were very close. Don is a very powerful "Jim Jones" personality that can overwhelm people who come under his spell but he was not a man of good character when I knew him. I was with him on Christmas Eve 1979 outside his house beside his loaded down pickup trying to get him to stay the night that he left his sweet wife Joanne and his kids so that they would cruelly not have Daddy home for Christmas. Joanne had found condoms in Don's gym bag and she knew they weren’t for her. Later Don seduced the married mother of 4 little girls to go to Arizona with him. He tore that family apart like he did his own. Around September 1980 while I was out of town Don came by my home and tried to seduce my wife. She rebuffed his advances as he grabbed at her pants by telling him she was pregnant. I sent him a letter accusing him of trying to ruin my family like he had done to that other man in town and his nasty reply said, "I couldn't get excited by your wife even if I tried". Later Don brought a couple of his "Wives" back to meet with Joanne to try to convince her to join them in their bed. She refused and sent them on their way. Unconfirmed word came back to me later that the small daughters of those women were also welcomed into their family bed to share in Don's bizarro world of family "love". No wonder that someone has posted here that they have first hand knowledge that he is a pedophile. I can't say I know it is true but the claim does not surprise me at all. Don is an extremely powerful communicator and can be hypnotic in his personal interactions. He mixes powerful truths with completely fabricated stories. He told me to my face he was visited by angles and his first book about the Angel Raphael had complete chapters that were plagiarized word for word from the Essene Gospel of Peace. Don always had some new scheme to try a make a big $ killing and he has left a long trail of injured people in his wake. The Madoffs of the world need their "singers" so of course Don has those singing his praises. Don is shrewd, brilliant and entertaining and that is the magician’s distraction. There are plenty of suckers out there who continue to fall for Don's fascinating mixture of truth and lies. The simple are easily taken in by his intellect, humor and pretended integrity. Don cloaks his money schemes in his attacks on the failing healthcare system and all of the moneyed turf protectors who steadfastly defend the status quo. He acts the hero for the downtrodden natural solutions he promotes. I just can't get past the messenger since I know the truth about his lack of character. If he wasn't true to his own wife to whom he had sworn sacred covenants, what makes you think he will be true to you? We were like brothers and he tried to steal my wife. The natural health movement can find better spokesmen than Don without all of his baggage and tarnished history. With friends like Don, who needs enemas? It’s sad how greed and selfish lusts limit his tremendous potential. Somewhere along the way he made compromises that allow him to lie in order to build up some kind of false authority to his words that he feels his true history and credentials will not support. Too bad he didn't make the sacrifices of those he attacks to get the degrees they have in order to have more credibility. Instead, he has created a false history to rival the learned and degreed mainstream physicians he attacks who must substantiate all of their claims and treatment protocols with double blinded randomized clinical studies. How much easier is it to just cloak oneself in an obscure long history of supposed study with the ancient masters and their writings in some secret library? Take the truth from his mouth and writings but please just beware: when you play with snakes, don't be surprised when you get bit. That is what snakes do.

  • I attended one of the introductory talks in Sydney just recently.

    1) No questions were permitted. WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS.
    2) Music and rockstar style entrance, high fives. CHARISMATIC ENTERTAINER
    3) When he got up on stage I noted that his knees weren't good as he had to make a large effort placing hand on knee and wincing. THIS GUY SHOULD BE HEALTHIER
    4) Has a significant amount of body fat (subcutaneous) especially around the stomach. PARTICULARLY UNHEALTHY
    5) No qualification aside "from repeating the third grade", which he stressed. IT'S OK NOT TO BE QUALIFIED AND SELF RESEARCH BUT MOCKING LACK OF EDUCATION
    6) Mentioned that plants don't use dirt to grow but electricity and sunlight to manufacture all products. WRONG AGAIN - PLANTS REQUIRE INORGANIC MINERALS FROM SOIL. I GROW ORGANICALLY.
    7) Ridiculous stories about his quest on pulses from the bible. The stories grew taller and taller by the minute. "crawling through catacombs"... here he delved into hypnosis, few would understand the induction he performed but it was executed reasonably skillfully. This is where people get sucked in. HYPNOTIC INDUCTION, EMBEDDED COMMANDS and DIRECTIVES.
    8) Spoke about evil medical system, which to a large degree he was correct about. This again is where people fall for him because he uses truth to persuade people his way is the correct one. YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER.
    9) Testimonials were from people who were did not look healthy (suffering adrenal failure), but audience members would have the ability to recognize that. Testimonials were to be taken at face value.

There's so much more... he uses something called "The doctrine of signatures" and claims it. Basically it is the shape of food is good for that particular organ. It's not new nor is it his, just it's people first exposure to the idea, this is called an "imprint" experience. He uses this to sell his products and promote his "bootcamp".

Lastly he was hypocritical throughout his talk. Problem is most people's analytical function switches off when being entertained, just like in the movies, it's called "suspension of disbelief".

The fellow strikes me as a near complete charismatic charlatan. I would strongly caution anyone following him.

Eating wholefoods is what you should be doing and avoiding toxins, Don didn't invent this, he just jumped on the health bandwagon. He knows only a little about health, just one last example... he suggests in his diet pdf that people drink coffee, which is full of acrylamides (carcinogens), it is an extremely unhealthy drink! Look it up or anything else that I've discussed.

Also from what others have been saying about him, it doesn't surprise me as it fits charismatic charlatan, doesn't it?

By no means have I said everything that I do know better, I could go on and on. The people that support this guy aren't educated in health and are clearly not knowledgeable as they would be capable of discriminating between a health person and Don "cowboy who colours his mustache with toxic chemicals" Tolman.

You have been WARNED! You now know BETTER!

By Anonymous RealHealthGuy, at 8 October 2012 at 8:27 am

  • I am just curious why someone has to have "invented" something to make it a valid thought, or program. Eating healthy foods is not an original idea but every day I see people acting as if they don't know what is healthy and what is not, why shouldn't someone take it upon themselves to educate people? The latest entry was intelligently put together but I am still confused about the criticisms. Does he not have a valid point of view, this Mr. Tolman? Do we know Mr. Tolman's genetic history, to be able to judge his current health status? Is being charasmatic criminal? Does it make you a charlatan? Does he dissect every sales person's presentation in such a way? "HYPNOTIC INDUCTION, EMBEDDED COMMANDS and DIRECTIVES." - everyone selling any point of view? All people who dye their hair know nothing about health? Interesting observations but honestly I don't see the stretch to charlatan.

  • Hi Cara,

Thank you for the reply. Obviously I stated that there was much more to my observations as well.

In your reply you have ignored many of the points I made and selected a few to pull out. I will reply as you appear to be defending this fellow.

I am just curious why someone has to have "invented" something to make it a valid thought, or program.

DON CLAIMED IN HIS LONG "PATTER" THAT HE DISCOVERED THE DOCTRINE OF SIGNATURES IN AN ARCHIVE FROM A PRIVATE WEALTHY COLLECTOR (IN WASHINGTON) THAT HAD NO INTEREST IN IT. HE CLAIMED WAS INVITED PRIVATELY TO VIEW IT. HIS STORY WAS A VERY OLD SCROLL. FACT: IT UNLIKELY IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IN ENGLISH. FACT: HIS CLAIM IS THAT HE FOUND IT AND IT'S UNKNOWN IS FALSE AND HE'S BRINGING IT TO THE PUBLIC, WHEN IT IS NOTHING NEW. HE RESEMBLED A STORYTELLER AND WAS VERY COLORFUL WHEN TELLING IT.

Eating healthy foods is not an original idea but every day I see people acting as if they don't know what is healthy and what is not, why shouldn't someone take it upon themselves to educate people?
LOTS OF PEOPLE ARE, EVEN IN MAINSTREAM ESTABLISHMENT LIKE DR.JOEL FUHRMAN, PROF T.COLIN CAMPBELL, DR. ORNISH. THESE GUYS ARE DOING GREAT WORK THERE ARE HEAPS OF OTHERS TOO. THIS GUY IS TEACHING RUBBISH, LIKE I SAID HE DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT HEALTH AND I GAVE TOLD READERS HERE ABOUT COFFEE AS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF MANY.

The latest entry was intelligently put together but I am still confused about the criticisms. Does he not have a valid point of view, this Mr. Tolman?
THAT FOR EVERYONE TO DECIDE. PERSONALLY HE CAN HAVE ANY VIEW BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT OR HEALTHY. HE'S WRONG ABOUT MOST THINGS AND MANY THAT ARE DAMAGING TO PEOPLE'S HEALTH. ESPECIALLY WHEN HE PROMOTES TO BE CURING DISEASE LIKE STAGE 4 CANCERS ETC. HE IS CLEARLY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO ARE DESPERATE TO SEEK ALTERNATIVES TO MEDICINE. THEY FORK OUT MONEY AND DIE. PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT THAT.

Do we know Mr. Tolman's genetic history, to be able to judge his current health status?
HAVING EXCESSIVE SUBCUTANEOUS FAT IS INDICATIVE OF A POOR DIET ESPECIALLY IN THE LOCATIONS HE HAD. I AM A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, JUST LIKE WHEN SMOKE COMES OUT OF A CAR A MECHANIC KNOWS THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG. I CAN TELL YOU THE GUY IS NOT HEALTHY HIMSELF AND HE IS PROMOTING HEALTH.

    Is being charasmatic criminal?
    NOT BY ITSELF. NO.

Does it make you a charlatan?
WHAT THE CHARISMATIC PART OR THE PART WHERE HE LIES TO PEOPLE AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE? SEE HERE YOU ARE TRYING TO USE A PRESUPPOSITION TO SUGGEST IT'S THE PERSONALITY PART. ACTUALLY IT'S THE FACT HE WANTS PEOPLE'S MONEY AND HE IS NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE, SELLS PROMISES TO SICKEST PEOPLE WHO END UP DYING! IT'S REALLY UNCONSCIONABLE.

Does he dissect every sales person's presentation in such a way? "HYPNOTIC INDUCTION, EMBEDDED COMMANDS and DIRECTIVES." - everyone selling any point of view?
NOT SURE WHAT YOU MEAN. IT'S A SALES PITCH FOR SURE. LOTS OF TALL STORIES.

All people who dye their hair know nothing about health?
PRETTY MUCH YES, IF YOU WERE TRULY HEALTH CONSCIOUS YOU WOULDN'T BOTHER WITH THE VANITY OF IT. PLUS IT'S A KNOWN CARCINOGEN.

Interesting observations but honestly I don't see the stretch to charlatan.
WELL THAT'S YOUR OPINION. HE IS A CHARLATAN, IT'S A TOTALLY APPROPRIATE TERM TO DESCRIBE THIS GUY. HOPEFULLY I'VE CLARIFIED THIS POSITION, I MAY BE DIRECT BUT THIS GUY IS A REAL PIECE OF WORK AND YOUR EFFORT TO DEFEND HIM IS UNFORTUNATE. I HOPE YOU SEE THE LIGHT OF TRUTH.

  • well, i don't want to keep going tit for tat but i have to say by your criteria most of the entire u.s. medical establishment would be considered manipulative charlatans, preying on the desperate. very few of the doctors i know are 100% healthy, are lean, and many of them, male and female dye their hair. and talk about $$$$, how many friends have you had die from cancer lately, and have you looked at their medical bills for the radiation and the chemo? i have had five close friends going through it. all trusted the standard medical establishment. four have died, and by the looks of it, #5 will die too, three in their fifties, one in her twenties. what i meant by the sales pitch comment, most sales people are taught key words, and sales techniques, that by your standards might be considered "HYPNOTIC INDUCTION, EMBEDDED COMMANDS and DIRECTIVES." Is it true that Steve Jobs was using Dr. Ornish's cancer diet? And that he promotes soy for it? I don't know, but I think everyone is doing the best they can and that Don Tolman has a right to promote his beliefs. Ever hear of the arise and shine program? He also promotes raw foods and water and juice fasts and cleansing, is a dr., and brought himself back from a serious health affliction. a lot of people do. it's good information; i for one would stay away from chemo & radiation. as the doctor who put my cousin's husband through two years of radiation and chemo said "you didn't think he was going to get well, did you?" i tried to tell them to look at other options before the 11th hour, but they put their trust with the standard american medical establishment. in the end she admitted to me that it was clearly a way to get an enormous amount of money from them and their insurance companies. people need to take self responsibility. and the body when given a chance knows how to heal. and it's not usually pharmaceuticals that do it.

  • well, i don't want to keep going tit for tat but i have to say by your criteria most of the entire u.s. medical establishment would be considered manipulative charlatans, preying on the desperate.
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT, ALTHOUGH I THINK THERE ARE MANY CARING DOCTORS WHO BELIEVE THE BRAINWASHING.

very few of the doctors i know are 100% healthy, are lean, and many of them, male and female dye their hair.
    YES, THEY ARE SUPER IGNORANT.

and talk about $$$$, how many friends have you had die from cancer lately, and have you looked at their medical bills for the radiation and the chemo?
YES I'VE HAD FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THERE'S ONE IN PARTICULAR WHO LISTENED TO ME AND IS STILL HERE. OTHERS DESPITE THE EVIDENCE STILL WANT TO LISTEN TO THEIR SPECIALISTS ABOUT DIET AND ARE RECOMMENDED MILK. TRAGIC! THOSE THAT I AM CLOSEST TO I HAVE MANAGED TO CHANGE EVERYONE'S DIET AND LIFESTYLE CONSIDERABLY.

i have had five close friends going through it. all trusted the standard medical establishment. four have died, and by the looks of it, #5 will die too, three in their fifties, one in her twenties.
THAT SUCKS, YOU HAVE MY CONDOLENCES.

what i meant by the sales pitch comment, most sales people are taught key words, and sales techniques, that by your standards might be considered "HYPNOTIC INDUCTION, EMBEDDED COMMANDS and DIRECTIVES."
MANY SALES PITCHES DO USE THESE TECHNIQUES, SOME NATURALLY. HOWEVER CONTEXT AND CONTENT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT WHEN EXAMINING EACH INTERACTION. (THERE'S MORE TO IT THAN THAT, BUT I'VE PUT ENOUGH OF THAT TO INFORM READERS OF THE DON TOLMAN SCAM)

Is it true that Steve Jobs was using Dr. Ornish's cancer diet? And that he promotes soy for it?
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT. SOY IS BAD OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE OF THE PHYTOESTROGENS. THIS ALSO PROVES THAT PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BLINDLY FOLLOW ANYONE. I LIKE DR.FUHRMAN BUT HE RECOMMENDS EATING BEANS FROM A TIN CAN! IT'S ALSO ALLEGED ALSO THAT JOBS WAS GAY AND DIED FROM AIDS?

I don't know, but I think everyone is doing the best they can and that Don Tolman has a right to promote his beliefs.
A RIGHT SURE, BUT I DON'T AGREE WITH THIS GUY AND STATED HE'S WRONG AND DELIBERATELY TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE.

Ever hear of the arise and shine program?
I JUST GOOGLED IT AND GLANCED AT IT. SEEMS ON THE RIGHT TRACK TO ME (AT FIRST GLANCE).

He also promotes raw foods and water and juice fasts and cleansing, is a dr., and brought himself back from a serious health affliction. a lot of people do. it's good information; i for one would stay away from chemo & radiation.
I AGREE, THE ALTERNATIVES LIKE DIET AND LIFESTYLE PLAY THE LARGEST ROLE.

as the doctor who put my cousin's husband through two years of radiation and chemo said "you didn't think he was going to get well, did you?" i tried to tell them to look at other options before the 11th hour, but they put their trust with the standard american medical establishment. in the end she admitted to me that it was clearly a way to get an enormous amount of money from them and their insurance companies. people need to take self responsibility.
    AGREED

and the body when given a chance knows how to heal. and it's not usually pharmaceuticals that do it.
PRETTY MUCH AGREE WITH THAT TOO.

MY POINTS ON DON STILL STAND AND YOU CAN SEE THAT WE HAVE MUCH IN AGREEMENT.

    BE WELL :)

  • I posted here in February 2010. My wife paid $5000 to become a Don Tolman Foundation Member instead of having a mastectomy for her breast cancer (surgery was booked for the following week). Over the following 36 months he failed to honour any of the benefits of this membership. He ignored many emails from her and failed to return several messages left on his telephone message bank (calls from Australia to the USA). During the time he ignored her, the untreated breast cancer metastasised and spread to her spine and eventually several organs. He took her money and left her to die ! She passed away 2 weeks ago. Our two young teenage children have been left motherless thanks to this rogue. He is an evil con man.

  • I have just heard Don Tolman speak which had sound advice for anyone not knowledgeable about their body or the foods they consume. Unfortunately, the poor taste jokes interwoven through a meandering speech, from which a cheat sheet was constantly being referred to left me a little dubious as to his passion about the subject matter. Nothing was new, however, I'm sure for the money paid for his workshop, one must surely be enlightened. I was surprised when he walked out on the platform to see an overweight person. Don, your message is a good one but nothing new, badly delivered with the excessive but inevitable lengthy sales pitch at the end. Not a show I would recommend.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 21 February 2013 at 6:29 am

  • attended his Adelaide, South Australia session last night and lots of good advice offered. However the sales pitch at the end lost it for me where EXPENSIVE products were offered. If he believes in what he is preaching then why does it have to be a huge money making venture. Lets have the information in reasonable cost form, not $500 for 5DVDs or $3,000 for a 3 day course. Don, be like the guy who came up with the World Wide Web (WWW), he made no profit from his "invention", allowing the world to benefit in its use at no cost to users. Similarly spread your message with no strings attached if you believe it will better mankind and eliminate the many diseases.

  • It was Mike's wife (J.R.) that Don stole from him and their four daughters in Wenatchee, Washington (after he was excommunicated from the Mormon church). They had been next-door neighbors.

I also tried to convince Judy not to follow "the Prophet" (as Tolman referred to himself). She had given me the copy of the Book of the Essene (the one that Don used to plagiarize the book of Raphael) and asked me if I thought Don was an angel sent to earth by God. I told her no.

J.R. left Don once (after she caught him seducing other women to be in his plural family without telling her first) and she tried to start a new life close to her daughters again ... but he talked her into coming back to him.

Don personally told me that he spoke nightly with the ghost of the dead Joseph Smith JR., and that he would become the leader in a "new" Mormon church that he would establish worldwide through the media.

He also had Judy on a strict diet of nuts and berries, and in a program of sleep deprivation to keep her and his other two young polygamist wives in a trance-like state, in order to get them to do his will.

Don believed that the way to get to into Heaven was NOT through acquiring a perfect spirit ... but by acquiring a "perfect" BODY. (Thus his temple fast...)

Obviously he still believes that - but obviously has failed at perfecting his body. And by his own words and actions, must now fail to go to Heaven.

I last spoke with Judy and Don together at dinner in Scottsdale Arizona in the summer of 1982. My wife and I were trying to help her find a way to escape his charismatic controls. (We did not succeed.)

Then, I heard later (from a fairly qualified source) that J.R. had died of leukemia (after his experiments with her and his inappropriate behavior with her daughters). I do not know firsthand if the child abuse story is true, but everything else ... is the absolute truth (that I personally experienced first hand).

If anyone knows where Judy was buried, I would sincerely appreciate you leaving the location here in these comments. I would like to have closure.

The good die young ... the wicked never rest.

  • Judy.. daughters.. ?? didnt she change her name to Amber...if so he is married to her now.... Pllzz how young was he?? young.. many people had visions and were shifting and knowledge came in.. all the new age started..and so many people had there egos tested... what he knows still goes back to Ancient knowledge.. a different knowledge then now that we are living.. many have had dreams and visions and the likes as he.. if you haven't.. then on the outside you see like a real weirdo.. and many have fallen short of the visions as this life hasnt supported much to obtain it.. you most likely dont know what I am talking about..but the people know that there is more to all of this life here and more to be in this body.. get it.. you get older..have to eat..pay your bills.. and part of you gives up what you had in your youth.People with ideals not of the norm get labeled so many things and when they prove that they are not perfect.. as Don has.. then he is everything in the book... he has made many mistakes.. and many have done wrong by him and ripped him off.. and stole from him..and vice versa with business mistakes and carelessness or bad advisement.. it gets old... he just wants to keep the vision that there is more and more to life..more to health.. more to your body.. and I for one know this as many beyond words I have experienced and what the current knowledge is.. the people dont get it.. won't.. he came out to fast wanted his visions to fast.. made mistakes.. and got lost in it.. it is there waiting.. a new way to be and live.. this is not from him but by others who know.. who get it.. its too bad he had to clear his filters at the time of any Mormon knowledge to relearn to not come through that back ground and get the shit kicked out of him.. I am sure he is over it by now.. and has lived enough to just let it go and be.. and let it come if it does,, the time has proven... and patience was the key.... people also need to NOT give themselves over to anyone.. we constantly do that.. wake up to your truth.. if he says something and it hits home.. then u tell your body and do it and command it in you.. dont be pulling at someone to save yourself or life..and PLZZZ how many NEw agey books back in that time period.. if you read now might be off the wall.. ALSO it is KNOWN.. that Ancient Egyptian knew to talk the non living.. that you learned direct.. this is direct from a Egyptian priest. but we are so closed off and the part of our brains that can do it has shrunk so much.. and..YEP u wont get what Im saying.. but.. talk to the Tibetans... they know as well.. get over it.. get a life.. and people need to wake up to be strong and command there own truth.. if they even know how to find it.. they know they are lost..just remember. what u have learned came from someone else.. and u are a repeater... or you have it direct inside you.. we forget.. so blame him hate him.. say whatever to a MAN.. but get off yourself and live greatly.... stop parroting everyone else.. turn off the tv.. and watch nature..and learn natural laws..PEACE

  • You're talking in circles again Don...(you always have). It prevents others from finding a way to challenge you.

You are pathological. You can lie without guilt and without blinking ... and it throws people off balance, so they suspend their disbelief, and then go along for the ride. When they realize that they have been had they are too embarrassed to confront you and admit their own foolishness.

You flood the internet with your rampant marketing - to hide the truth that eventually will emerge. You never traveled the world looking for the truth. You never met a rich man who gave you access to documents. You made it all up.

You know that Amber is not Judy.

Judy would have been over 64 years old (if she had lived). You broke her spirit - you broke her will.

And you haven't lost your Moron programming. You speak at Mormon ladies meetings (probably looking for more sheep to marry).

    Where is Judy buried Don?

  • DUmshit.. shows how much you know.. Im not Don.. just a person who has known him also for a long time.. seen good.. seen faults.. seen the deeper vision.. whats with it people always.. want to attack a person who wants or sees a bigger vision... so.. • So I went last night to his seminar in Sydney. Kept and open and critical mind here and I'm a holistic health practitioner. I would have to say by the time the 2.5 hour seminar to sell his boot camp was over, the word Shyster came to mind. Got home Googled DT scam, and I'm not surprised this exist. He said 'you can't make money from fruit and vegetables' but that's what he's trying to do! $3000 for 3 days to give people recycled information! He is not a healer or health professional just another person jumping on the health bandwagon to make a buck. Belle Gibson anyone?! What I found most unsettling, was the video he played at the end. There was one man, with USA bills hanging out in full view from his top pocket, like who keeps money like that stored on their body?, saying how it changed his life!! Low and behold, that same man was at the seminar, in a reserved seat at the front row!! I smelt a scam when I saw this. I was on the look at the see if any NLP would be used but there must have been some kind of subliminal message used with that man and money from his pocket. Not sure what, but I don't trust it or DT. Glad I spent no $$$ and he wont see a cent from me. There's a reason we train in natural health, have association to be registered to practise and covered by insurance. DT has none of this. Stay away from him or go find a registered Nutritionist to consult with. If you don't want to see your GP.

  • I found this site last night. I was reading some comments on another site, about another "doctor" and Don Tolman's name was mentioned. I just looked him up. I did get lots of hits on him, mostly to his websites, but then I typed Fraud at the end....and found this site. (I only typed fraud, because his name came up on this other forum, in the same post as this other doctor, who was called a fraud). To be fair........ even if someone's name is mentioned in peer related reviews, I look them up and see what's up from a different perspective.

Anyway, the point......... I am neither a skeptic nor a "true believer" of anything. I used to be a "true believer", however, with the abundance of bad information on the internet, and the rampant conspirituality that abounds, I tend to like to see all sides of a story (or at least more than just one side or other) to try to be able to make an informed comment.

The conclusion that I have come to, personally, is this..... At the end of the day, it's up to US, each, as individuals.... to make an informed decision about our own health. Whether he is a fraud or not...... really, it's up to each person, to investigate things for themselves. Anyone who takes ANY type of health information (or any information) at face value, without actually looking around to see alternative views..... the onus is NOT on the person selling their wares....it's up to the buyer to make sure that the product is what they want. And that means, looking around and not just buying the first thing you see. This goes for any information as well as wares.

Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware (and do your own homework. Use google. It's a good tool to at least give you alternative views)

One thing that we are in charge of, in complete control of, is OURSELF..... that means, not taking any one bit of anything at face value.

  • MY NAME IS NITA,A LIVING CLAIM OF DR WILLIAMS HERBAL MEDICINE.

Dr Williams, herbal treatment is the best to shrink pineal cyst naturally.

Four months ago, I was scheduled an operation to remove a fairly large pineal cyst (approx. 8 mm), which had caused me a great deal of headache and tightness around my head. . My doctor insisted that there was no other choice but to go under the knife and I had reluctantly agreed (after trying several medications to decrease the size of the pineal cyst to no avail). It was approx. 2 months prior to the surgery when my husband comes across dr williams herbal remedies which my husband found and ordered for me online. With the help of my loving husband, I followed the step and procedure on how i should be taking it. and one months later I was scheduled for an scan check: it was shocking. The pineal cyst had completely gone, I had consulted my doctor and cancelled the surgery and with his dedicated counseling guidance I managed to completely treat the pineal cyst from my pineal gland , along with the pain and anxiety that this condition had inflicted on me. Thank you so much for your kind help DOCTOR,for more information on how to get his medication you can visit his blog on http://pinealcystnaturalcure.blogspot.com

  • He's never said that hence why you didn't link proof to him saying that. Nice try ;-)

  • Came here to try and find out who this guy is and what supposedly makes him special. I never heard of him before until I learned about this:

Sounds like him and his son are scammers.

  • Don Tolman seems like a great guy in person, he knows a lot about alternative heath options.

Tyler Tolman his son, has an ego on him about the size of the Himalayan Mountains. He also knows a lot, but when someone preaches spirituality, healing and hey "come to one of my retreats in Blai, I'll help you out" but charges in excess of 5 - 10k, or 2k+ for a 2 to 3 day talk, you got to think twice.

Plus yeah, he's endorsing that Australian land share scam (NightCap Village) that's been going on in some way, shape or form, for nearly a decade. He has to know what's going on, but they've named a part of the land after him... "Tomlan's Ridge", probably offered it to him for free, so he's onboard for sure.

Shame on you Tyler, grow some spiritual balls. When all the material wealth you've accumulated starts waning, you'll have nothing left but to think "where did it all go wrong", either in this life or the next, but you've been warned. Wake up mate, stop helping those scammers Mark and Adrian, fool people out of their life savings.

  • A friend has been doing 21 day juice diets on the recommendation of Tolman. Now she is asking to 'design' my life using their philosophies. I came here to try and checkout what others say about them. I am super skeptical. I was once at a Don Tolman talk where he said breast cancer was caused by tight underwire bras!!! I was sitting near a cousin dying of breast cancer. Was it her fault she got breast cancer - I doubt it. In searching about them, I have found several websites where their lawyers have had content on Google removed by lawsuit. A lot of money must be driving this. Are they even qualified????

  • Yes, the 7 pillars of health that Don advocates are the key to health, without question, and many now know this.

  • I would like to like Don. The black-dye moustache and cowboy look seems really vain and silly. Just own that you are an old man with dentures, Don! Imagine the chemical dye needed getting that handlebar moustache so black. That is what raised the alarm for me. I'm not saying everything he says is wrong. He looks vain, like he's trying to be this big "stud." Just looks like a has-been huckster. I'm not so sure about all his mysterious travels and ancient secrets either. Veganism can get people really sick. No traditional culture on earth is 100% vegan.
Big pharma is indeed corrupt, though.

  • Please tell me more! I had a terrifying experience with him as a child. No one knows the depth of crazy he is.

  • I cannot believe I’m seeing all this. I had a terrifing experience with him as a child. He was starting a cult, and was trying to recruit my family, please elaborate, I’m trying to make sense of messy memories.

  • I knew him in the eighties. He was trying to start his own cult. Keep your children away from him.
